This attractive, early map of some of the main islands of the Caribbean is also looked for because it includes the first printed image of the harbor and city of Havana, portus celiberimus totius indiae occidentalis, the most famous port of the Caribbean.
San Salvador
1634 - Grands Voyages XIII - Original colour
Very rare map of the port of San Salvador in Brasil, as the last parts of the Grands Voyages of de Bry (after part IX) are extremely rare, let alone in original colour.
America Meridionalis
1720 - original colour
Fine print on strong paper, nicely coloured and in excellent condition.
Vue du Port de la Havane

Particularly beautiful view of the port of Havana, with the city far away and a rural scene in the foreground.
